Acrylic Painting

Themed acrylic painting sessions with Kelly
Workshop suitable for all abilities

Try out various printmaking techniques like linlinoprint with Kelly. Each session has a theme but you can bring your own projects and ideas to create through print.This course is suitable for all abilities and caters for those who have already attended the beginners session.


Rainbow & Hearts Mosaic Class

Ceri Morgan

£50 per Person

Make a large rainbow, mini hanging rainbow, or heart with Ceri. Bring your own favorite beads/ junk/badges/buttons/ as decorations.Must supply old apron, wear covered shoes as cutting glass with wheeled nippers. Goggles supplied for non glass wearers.Demonstration of grouting and grout to take home, or I can grout and paint at home for £10 each.

Needle Felting Club

Enjoy an informal felting session with Sue. Develop your own wet felted or needle felted project with guidance.Suitable for beginners or experienced felters.Please email Sue to discuss your project ideas before you book.

Sally is a maths teacher and children's author. She has written her stories up into a book which has been beautifully illustrated by Alex Crump a local illustrator.


Glassworkers


Ceri Morgan

Mamafrog Mosaics and Crafts

Ceri creates unique handcrafted mosaic artwork with materials such as vitreous glass, ceramics, mirror and recycled objects. Often, She embellishes pieces with Murano Glass Millefiori slices, irridescent and metallic veined glass.

Ron Harpham

Mithra Designs Glass Studio

Ron's always had an interest in stained glass and many years ago he created stained glass sun-catchers, panels and terrariums. Now he makes a whole variety of stained glass objects.


After her husband bought Tracey to a 3 day beginners crash course to Glass Fusing. She is excited to begin her journey in this artform.

Lucy Shirley-Rollison

Purple Gecko Gifts

All of Lucy's candles are poured by hand in small batches using natural soya wax. The reed diffusers are highly fragranced and in an eco solvent base.


Mike Forster

Kingsholm Honey

Mike counts himself as a middle-man for his bees rather than a craftsman. He has a variety of wax candles and products, along with some honey available.

Sarah's Scrumptious Soaps

Sarah makes homemade Soaps Bath bombs, Bath creamers, Bath salts, Balms, Bath melts, and Sugar scrubs


Illustrators


Bethany Bronwyn Curtis

Firbet Makes

Bethany is a mixed media illustrator using traditional acrylic paintings and digital illustration . She creates her own prints, zines, and keyrings.


David is an illustrator specialising in architectural and landscape subjects using watercolour, soft pastel and pencil.


Penny loves to experiment with different colour combinations and textures in her paintings. She has been happily painting professionally for over 20 years.


Jewellers


Anne Lewandowska

Anne designs jewellery using Paua Shell and combine these pieces with semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls to create a delicate and colourful design.


Caroline Cockerill

Rose Cottage Jewellery

Caroline works mainly in sterling silver but also in copper, her favourite thing is to add texture to the metal. All her jewellery is hallmarked by the London Assay Office with a full traditional stamp and her makers mark.


Artists


Andrew Liddington

An amateur artist specialising in transport for his paintings. Prints, cards and mugs are all available.

Beverley Perry

Beverley Perry Artist

Beverley is an artist based in Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. I combine the use of photography, sketching, a lot of imagination, and a wealth of artistic licence.


Irina Petrova

Irishas Pet Portraits's

Irina is known as the artist ‘Irisha’. She has been a professional pet portrait artist since 2010. working from her home studio based in the UK.


Karen works in water-colour to create colourful, detailed paintings. She loves to tie themes of ‘the female’, ‘motherhood’, ‘medicine’, or ‘folk tales' into her artwork.


Kelly is an artist/printmaker painting with watercolours or acrylics. Each one of her products is hand printed in her spare room using a heat press.


Trudi is self-taught, specialising in the versatility of acrylic paint. She has exhibited extensively around the Cotswolds and South West, including the Royal West of England Academy.


Wendy is a Gloucester based contemporary artist specialising in Mixed Media, Acrylic and Ink artwork/Pyrography. She's inspired by Abstract Expressionism and the colours and textures of the Gloucestershire landscape.



Sculptors


Sue Smith

Serisilks

Sue is a felt maker who makes a range of items by felting. She often incorporates other methods and materials to produce original one-offs like wall hangings, felted sculptures and pots, cushions, scarves, and lamps.


Tasha Sidford & Cheryl Jackson

Woolen Wisdom

Tasha and Cheryl are obsessed with all thing needlefelt. From gnomes to fairies and playmats to hats, both artisans create a variety of fun products


Textiles Artisans


Rosie Hannaby

Rosie ia a macrame artist based in Gloucester with a passion for using sustainable materials and up-cycled items. 'I love being able to use a range of items, macrame techniques, and ideas to create a different piece every time I go into my work room!'


Sue Dickin

Sue's mixed textile pictures are made by layering machine embroidery and hand stitching on a pin felted background. She uses a range of textiles to create the palette of colours and textures.


Taiwo was born in Nigeria which informs her use of african print on handmade designs. Her work includes a veriaty of Backpacks, keyrings, notebooks.


Penni Townsend

Penni T Textiles

Penni's creations are made from a range of materials including felt and silk. Some of her work include alter ego dolls, teddy bears and handmade books.


Woodworkers


Anita Brayford

Anita sets Enamel in reclamied wood. She uses a veriaty of opaque, transparent, coloured Enamel alongside finely powdered glass and copper


Helen Lomberg

Helen is drawn to using willow for a positive environmental impact, she makes a wide range of things for the home and garden. She loves to grow and harvest her own material in and source the rest from Somerset.


Paul Heckford

After a life changing accident whilst working as a tree surgeon. Paul now uses carefully selected pieces of wood and epoxy resin to create attractive and functional works of art.


Steve Carpenter

Carpenter’s Woodcraft Bespoke

Steve is a traditional woodworker, using traditional, green woodworking methods (and some modern methods) to create a range of practical and beautiful wooden objects.


Tina loves the beauty in the nature of the wood. She uses Pyrography (writing with fire) and wood turning to create wood fruit, bowls and other miniatures.


Rohan handturns a vertiaty of wooden items to enable him to satisfy his addictive hobby.
Contact for any turned wooden item in a particular timber.

How to Apply


To apply for a place you are required to:

  • Make or Design your own original work

  • Live in Gloucestershire

  • Work 2 full days or 4 half days each month in the shop

You will have to pay in 3 month long renting periods for your space in the shop.
The shop will also take a 10% cut of all sales to fund shop expenses

  • Your name

  • Your craft profession

  • How you create your craftwork

  • Multiple photos of your craftwork

  • Prices of your pictured craftwork

You will may be asked to bring in physical copies of your work for review
Your work will be discussed for acceptance at the end of the month.
